The Liberals Want You To Stop Talking About How Bad Things Are

Blaming Canadians for noticing the problems all around us is the ultimate in arrogant Liberal elitism.

If the Liberals are good at one thing, it’s brazen arrogance.

Time and again, they act as disinterested observers of events taking place in Canada, as if they weren’t actually the government in power.

As Canada’s economy worsens, as crime surges, as overdose deaths rise, and as Canadians have a growing sense that the foundations and institutions of our nation are falling apart, the Liberals are blaming Canadians for noticing this.

Take a look at the video below of Liberal labour minister Seamus O’Regan:

“Enough with the fear mongering and stoking people’s anxieties. People have enough going on right now.”

The arrogance and gaslighting here is off the charts.

O’Regan is basically admitting that Canadians are struggling, but then pretends as if he’s not part of the government that has caused so many Canadians to struggle.

He then tries to shift blame to those he claims are ‘fear-mongering’ and ‘stoking anxiety.’

Here’s the problem with that.

Canadians have a right to feel fearful and anxious about what is happening in our country.

If things were getting better, there wouldn’t be anxiety and fear to ‘stoke’.

The fear and anxiety is a result of the real-world conditions facing Canadians, not political rhetoric.

Pointing out what people are going through is not only important, but is indeed essential, because we can’t solve problems unless we first identify them and address them.

It’s no coincidence that the Liberals are trying to shift blame, because there is a lot going wrong in our nation.

If the Liberals were willing to listen, and willing to shift away from their radical ideological approach, then things could start improving.

But instead, they keep doubling down on their high-tax agenda, continue to restrict the energy sector, continue pushing the inflationary carbon tax, and continue to borrow and spend at a rapid pace.

So, if they aren’t willing to change their policies, they will have to try and blame others for the consequences of those policies.

It’s dishonest, arrogant, and a complete insult to Canadians.
