Michael and Martellus Bennett attack NFL stars in controversial interview, call Jay Cutler “Worst quarterback in NFL”

Michael Bennett – a defensive lineman for the Seattle Seahawks, and his brother Martellus Bennett – a tight end for the New England Patriots, took part in a controversial interview with ESPN where they ripped into numerous NFL stars.

From the ESPN Interview, here are the Bennett brothers thoughts on some of their fellow NFL players, coaches, and even the commissioner:

New York Giants Quarterback Eli Manning

Martellus: “Eli? He’s cool. He’s like a normal white guy you see at the park trying to teach his kids how to play soccer and you know he can’t really play soccer himself.”

Seattle Seahawks Coach Pete Carroll

Martellus: “Joel Osteen.”

Michael: “Tom Cruise. I feel like Pete Carroll is like Benjamin Button. He doesn’t want to get old. He’s getting younger every year. What is going on?”

Martellus: “That’s what money does.”

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell

Michael: “A–hole. Nah, I’m just joking — you can’t say that. Overpaid.”

Michael Bennett calls Jay Cutler “worst quarterback in NFL”

Martellus Bennett played 3 seasons for the Chicago Bears, but it was his brother who attacked Cutler, calling him the “Worst quarterback in the NFL.”

Martellus complained that he would be open and Cutler would throw it into double coverage.

Cutler responded by telling the Chicago Tribune, “Most receivers and tight ends (think they) are always open. Hopefully Tom (Brady) can do a better job of finding him than I did.”
