North Korea’s Dictator May Be Planning ICBM Nuke Test

In a recent speech, North Korean Dictator Kim Jong Un hinted at a possible test of an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM).

Kim said preparations for an ICBM have “reached the final stages.”

Kim went on to say,“The political and military position of socialism should be further cemented as an invincible fortress,” Kim said according to the Korean Central News Agency. “We should resolutely smash the enemies’ despicable and vicious moves to dampen the pure and ardent desire of the people for the party and estrange the people from it.”

How charming.

A test of such a weapon would mark an escalation of North Korea’s nuclear ambitions. It would be a dangerous step up from having a bomb, to possessing a delivery system to attack countries across the globe, potentially putting North America within reach of a North Korean strike.

The South Korean Unification Ministry strongly condemned Kim’s threat.
