Elitist media doing best they can to ignore the story
One of the biggest stories in the world today is receiving a shockingly small amount of coverage in the elitist establishment media.
An entire city in the Philippines – Marawi City – is now a war zone as Islamist terrorists pledged to ISIS attempt a brutal takeover.
At this very moment, the flag of Islamic State is flying in parts of Marawi, as thousands of citizens flee for their lives.
Six Philippines troops have been killed so far, and special forces and attack helicopters have been brought in. Street-by-street battles are taking place, and hostages have reportedly been taken by the Islamists.
Marawi is a city of 200,000 people in the southern island of Mindanao. Its population is majority-Muslim.

Martial Law
Radical Islamism has been growing in Mindanao – which is the second largest island in the Philippines. Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte has declared martial law in an attempt to stem the ongoing spread of the Islamist terrorists.
Said Duterte, “If you fight us, you will die. If there is open defiance, you will die. And if it means many people dying, so be it.”
Weak Western elites
The Philippines are engaged in a life-and-death battle against the most dangerous threat to the civilized world. Yet, our elites have spent more time attack Duterte for his handling of the drug problem in the Philippines, than they have condemning ISIS or supporting the Philippines in their fight against terror.
I’ve spoken to people from the Philippines, and I can tell you that many strongly support Duterte. The crime problem there is massive, and Duterte is seen as someone actually willing to take strong measures. And while I disagree with how he has handled drug addicts – who should be treated rather than attacked – it’s absurd for the West to be attacking Duterte’s actions while he is fighting the horrifically barbaric terrorists of ISIS.
Once again, the answer is to throw political correctness in the garbage, and follow the clear dictates of common sense.
The West should be supporting Duterte and the Philippines in their battle against ISIS. It’s the same battle we’re facing as the civilized world faces an insidious and dangerous threat.
Now is a time for strength and decisiveness.

The elites want to hide their many failures behind political correctness, deception, and manipulation. We need to push back and spread the truth.
That’s why I write.
