Canada Must End All Payments To UN Climate Fund

The Trudeau government has committed Canada to spending $2.65 billion on the UN Green Climate Fund.

All of that money is taken from Canadian taxpayers, and then sent to the United Nations – who distributes it countries “fighting” climate change. The payments are part of the Copenhagen Accord of 2009, which set a goal of developed countries sending $100 billion to undeveloped countries.

Those payments must be cancelled.

As we all know, Canada has serious problems here at home. Our government must be focused on serving our own citizens, not participating in a global wealth redistribution scheme.

And make no mistake, that’s exactly what the UN Green Climate Fund is.

Climate change fight as a cover for socialism

One of the top goals of global socialism was to take money from wealthy countries and redistribute it to poorer countries. Never mind the fact that the spread of free markets did more to reduce global poverty than anything in history, those pushing globalist socialism want to destroy the economic hopes of the middle class and working people of the western world by stifling our economies and taking our money to give it away to politicians in poorer nations.

Yet, that agenda was discredited in the 1990’s with the fall of the Soviet Union. So, those who wanted global socialism had to look elsewhere, and they have found the battle against climate change to be the perfect alternative.

It’s the same agenda, just with new branding: Wealthy countries give restrict their own economies – damaging growth and severely hurting middle income and working class people. Meanwhile, those same countries give tons of their money to poorer countries.

That’s exactly what we’re seeing with the recent climate accords and the UN Green Climate Fund. Of course, it’s never the wealthy elites who give up their money. It’s never the banks or global corporations. It’s us Canadian taxpayers who get hit with the costs, and we pay the price of a weaker economy.

Betrayal may be a strong word, but it fits perfectly when describing what the government is doing. Our money is being taken from us and given away to the UN – an organization rife with corruption. And that money – which should be staying in our country – is finding its way into the pockets of politicians in other nations.

That has to end.

Canadian taxpayers money should only be used to serve Canadians. If people want to give to other countries, they’re free to do so on a private basis. But we must never be coerced by the government into giving our hard-earned money away outside our borders.

That’s why Canada needs to end foreign aid, and that means ending our spending on the UN Climate Fund.

The elites want to hide their many failures behind political correctness, deception, and manipulation. We need to push back and spread the truth.

That’s why I write.
