“Fast-track” approvals mean zero transparency for Canadians, and more power for globalist elites.
As I’ve said many times, the Canada Infrastructure Bank being pushed by the Trudeau government is incredibly dangerous. It gives $35 billion of taxpayer dollars for the use of global banks, who will get all the profits, while Canadian taxpayers would be burdened with any potential losses.
Now, a report from the Canadian Press has revealed the bank will be giving secret approvals for the projects:
“The federal infrastructure bank is many months away from opening its doors, but Liberals have given a group of civil servants the power to fast-track approval of projects for private funding well in advance. The officials are now on the verge of handing in their secret evaluations of the projects, along with any recommendations about how to use public funds to quickly pull in private dollars to pay for construction.”
Where’s the record level of “openness and transparency” Canadians were promised?
Under Trudeau, Canadian taxpayers are expected to give $35 billion to a secretive group making decisions with our money.
This shows the contempt the Trudeau government has for Canadians, taking billions of dollars of our money and then giving it secretly to push projects with banks.
As noted by the CP, ‘”In cases where a project is sufficiently advanced to proceed prior to the establishment of the (infrastructure bank), the advisory group will provide recommendations…on options for federal support to leverage private sector investment,” read the terms of reference for the group, which The Canadian Press obtained under the Access to Information Act.”
Its such clear evidence that the Trudeau government serves the global elites at our expense, and Canadians should be outraged by this latest revelation. How can a government claim to act in our interests when they take our money put it to the use of those around the world who already rigged the system to their benefit?
So much for “helping the middle-class.”
The elites want to hide their many failures behind political correctness, deception, and manipulation. We need to push back and spread the truth.
That’s why I write.
