WEAK: Trudeau Government “Discourages” Illegal Border Crossings In Tweet

Canadians are pointing out the pathetic weakness of the government statement

Despite the fact that the government has the power and authority to stop illegal border crossings, the Trudeau regime is acting like helpless observers.

While Trudeau refuses to even say that the illegal crossings should stop, the government released a statement on the border, which is notable only for it’s total weakness.

Here’s the government tweet, and the text of the statement:

“Canada is a welcoming and accepting country, and we are committed to orderly migration while always ensuring the safety and security of Canadians.

We are aware of irregular border crossings by individuals who request refugee protection upon arrival in Canada. In some countries, messages have been circulating through channels such as WhatsApp which suggest that Canada is inviting individuals to seek refugee status here.

In fact, the Government of Canada discourages people from entering Canada outside of designated ports of entry as it can be dangerous and is a violation of the law.

Stringent processes are in place for all those seeking refugee protection, regardless of how they enter Canada. Canada may offer refugee protection to those who fear persecution or who would be in danger if returned to their home country.”

That’s an incredibly weak statement, and it will encourage more illegal crossings.

We know that if the government made clear that illegal crossers would not be allowed to apply for asylum, the message would get out, and the illegal crossings would decline dramatically.

Of course, the Trudeau government doesn’t actually want to stop the crossings, hence the weak statements.

Here’s what Canadians are saying about the Trudeau government’s pathetic weakness:

Clearly, Canadians are seeing through the weakness and deception of the Trudeau government.

The elites want to hide their many failures behind political correctness, deception, and manipulation. We need to push back and spread the truth.

That’s why I write.
