Trudeau loves talking about human rights, but his approval of arms sales to Saudi Arabia shows his rhetoric to be nothing but lies.
As more and more evidence emerges that Saudi Arabia is using Canadian-made armoured vehicles against civilians – which is a violation of Canadian law – Justin Trudeau’s government has been dragging out an investigation for over a month and a half.
Despite campaigning against arms sales to Saudi Arabia, Trudeau has approved them while in office, another example of his endless hypocrisy.
Watch as he dodges a question on arms sales to Saudi Arabia, falling back on his “transparency” talking point instead of making clear whether he will follow Canadian law or not:

Canada must end trade with Saudi Arabia
It’s shameful that Canada sells arms to Saudi Arabia. It’s also shameful that we buy oil from them. Saudi Arabia is governed by a brutal regime that is opposed to Canadian values in every possible way. Not only should we ban arms sales to that country, but we should end all trade with them. Canada’s leaders need to step up and assert what Canada stands for, rather than continuing our terrible trade relationship Saudi Arabia.
