Horrific mass shooting took place at a Las Vegas country music festival.

A horrific mass shooting at a Las Vegas country music festival is the worst in United States history. Over 400 people are reportedly in hospital, and more than 50 people are dead. The killer opened fire on a crowd of 22,000 people, and the shooting continued for around 10 minutes.

Shooter identified as Stephen Paddock of Mesquite, Nevada

The authorities have identified 64-year-old Stephen Paddock as the evil and demented man who shot into the crowd from a room at the Mandalay Bay hotel & casino. He reportedly had 10 guns in his room. Paddock is believed to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot.

U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted his condolences and sympathies to the shooting victims:

Trump is expected to address the U.S. from the White House this morning at 10:30 am eastern time.

Las Vegas firefighter says it looked like “a war scene”

At this point, the authorities do not believe there was another shooter.
