If Trudeau’s tens of billions of dollars of new spending every year was actually helping Canadians, why are things getting worse?
A report by the Auditor General reveals the terrible service Canadians are getting from the Canada Revenue Agency.
The AG noted that 29 million calls were blocked by CRA, and some taxpayers made four calls a week without any certainty of getting service.
In the wake of this report, the Trudeau government has refused to take responsibility for the CRA’s incompetence, and is instead pathetically blaming the previous government. Watch Trudeau try to pass the buck in the video below:
#QP @AndrewScheer AG report on CRA calls: Why is it Liberal friends get answers while ordinary Cdns are put on hold?@CanadianPM We’ll be discussing AG report; is helpful. Realize many things we could’ve done better & we will do better. pic.twitter.com/tEowbFQZP2

Trudeau’s blame game
Not only did Trudeau ignore Scheer’s point about Liberal elites getting answers while regular Canadian taxpayers are snubbed, but he also tried to blame the Conservatives.
Keep in mind, we’re not talking about the long-term impact of a trade deal here. We’re talking about something the government directly controls on a day to day basis.
However, after two years in power, and tens of billions in new spending, the Trudeau government has no credibility when it comes to blaming others. They own full responsibility for what happens under their watch, and attempting to shift the blame demonstrates a total lack of leadership.
