Quebec Solidaire and Option Nationale move closer to a merger as 2018 election nears.
Two groups of far-left separatists have moved one step closer to merging in Quebec.
As noted by the CP, Members of Quebec Solidaire voted decisively to merge with Option Nationale, leaving Option Nationale members with the final decision.
Quebec Solidaire current has three elected members, while Option Nationale has none. Combined, the parties received over 8% of the vote in the last election.
The leadership of the parties have already agreed to a merger, but the members of both need to approve it.
Both Quebec Solidaire and Option Nationale are extremely far-left SJW separatist parties, with policies that are clearly socialist.
