Incoming Premier Scott Moe shows true leadership by standing up for the interests of his province, and fighting back against Trudeau’s dangerous and economically destructive agenda.
After winning the Saskatchewan Party leadership race, Scott Moe pledged to stand up for his province and oppose the Trudeau carbon tax as Premier.
Moe said he would oppose “a federal carbon tax that threatens the livelihood of every farmer, every miner, every worker in the energy sector.”
He added, “I will fight for this province, I will fight for our economy to ensure that we do not have a carbon tax.”
Then, he directly addressed Trudeau:
“And Justin Trudeau, if you were wondering how far I would go, just watch me.”

Some have been asking whether a new Premier means Saskatchewan will change our stance against the Trudeau carbon tax.
Here is my answer to that question. pic.twitter.com/b9d96zmD0r

Strong leadership
Moe is showing strong leadership, and is doing what a leader of a province should do: Stand up for the people they represent. It’s the same leadership shown by Jason Kenney in Alberta, as they are both fighting against an agenda from the Trudeau government that would damage the economies.
All Canadians should stand with those who are fighting to protect jobs and prosperity, and oppose the effort by Trudeau to impose his will against the wishes of Canadian provinces.
