A total debacle.
According to a new poll by Nanos for the Globe & Mail, Canadians view Justin Trudeau’s India trip as a total failure.
The trip was marred by the invite of a convicted attempted murderer to a state dinner, Trudeau and his family wearing over-the-top costumes, Trudeau caught lying about an investment deal, and his snub at the airport.
Canadians are not happy about it.
The poll shows that just 2% of Canadians described Trudeau’s India trip as a “success,” while 10% say it was “somewhat of a success.”
By contrast, 59% say it was not a “success,” while 18% say it was “somewhat not a success.”
Those are horrendous numbers for the Trudeau government.
Considering the cost of the trip to Canadian taxpayers, it turned out to be a total waste.
In fact, it was even worse than a waste, since at least a wasted trip would leave the status quo intact.
However, because Trudeau tried spreading a conspiracy theory blaming India for the Jaspal Atwal invite, the trip and its aftermath has severely damaged Canada-India relations.
So, a bunch of money was spent all so Trudeau could make a fool of himself and damage our relationship with a close ally.
Pathetic.

Hopefully Justine will be over soon too, can NOT be soon enough. What a bloody nightmare.
