“The Prime Minister cannot have it both ways. These statements are mutually exclusive,” said Andrew Scheer.
During Question Period, Conservative Party Leader Andrew Scheer pointed out that Justin Trudeau’s conspiracy theory blaming India for Jaspal Atwal’s invite to a state dinner has been directly contracted by both the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the MP who says they made the invite.
Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland has called the invite an “honest mistake,” while MP Randeep Sarai took responsibility for it.
And yet, Trudeau keeps pushing his conspiracy theory blaming India, and is even throwing public servants under the bus by claiming the conspiracy theory was their idea.
After Scheer once again exposed the contradictions – pointing out that either Trudeau or the Foreign Affairs Minister are lying – Trudeau went crawling back to what seems to be his only remaining political tactic: Sad and pathetic attacks on the previous Harper government.
Watch the QP exchange below:
Many Canadians are now wondering how the government can expect us to think they have even a shred of competence left, when the PM can’t even decide whether to trust his own garbage conspiracies or statements of the Foreign Affairs Minister.
