Except when it’s about him.
Justin Trudeau has positioned himself as the most ‘feminist’ PM of all time.
And part of that positioning has been adopting the far-left mantra of ‘believing all accusations,’ ignoring the whole ‘innocent until proven guilty’ thing.
A while back, when Trudeau was asked about the allegations against both Patrick Brown and Kent Hehr, Trudeau once again repeated his politically-correct lines, saying “I am unequivocal in my support for women who step forward with allegations of this kind and that continues.”
He also said, “It’s extremely important that we make absolutely clear that sexual harrasment and sexual assault is unacceptable. We take these allegations extremely seriously whenever they come up.”
You can watch his comments in the video below:
Except when it’s about him it seems.
Notice how Trudeau has conveniently abandoned his “unequivocal” support for women now that an accusation against him is being discussed.
All of a sudden, his ‘feminist’ rhetoric is gone.
What a coincidence…
And where are all the Liberal ministers and MPs who cast themselves as woke feminists?
Why are they silent?
Why aren’t they calling for all women to be believed and all allegations to be taken seriously?
Did they abandon the values they once claimed to hold just because their party leader is facing some troubles?
That certainly seems to be the case, and if they’re willing to abandon their ‘beliefs’ so easily, nothing else they say or do can ever be trusted.
The hypocrisy from Trudeau and the Liberals gets worse and worse by the day.
