Justin Trudeau’s arrogant comments towards protesters regarding mercury contamination at Grassy Narrows are being widely condemned.
Now, AFN National Chief Perry Bellegarde has weighed in.
“We see the Prime Minister has apologized this morning. He should apologize directly to those involved and he should visit Grassy Narrows and Wabaseemoong to talk to the people there and see the impacts of the mercury contamination firsthand. This incident highlights the need for action now. There have been numerous commitments from different governments for action, yet the people of Grassy Narrows First Nation and Wabaseemoong are still waiting while they face serious dangers to their health. It’s time for action.”
Trudeau’s remarks have been the latest example of him revealing how fake his ‘woke’ image was.
Trudeau and his elitist rich Liberal donors had a great time laughing and mocking the protesters, assuming the rest of the country wouldn’t see what they’re like behind closed doors.
But Canadians have seen, and we don’t like what we see.
