How could they have disagreed with her when what she said was based on ironclad facts and evidence?
In her original testimony, Jody Wilson-Raybould referred to ‘inappropriate political interference,’ warnings that Trudeau would “get this done one way or another,” and much more.
Trudeau, Butts, and Wernick denied it.
They claimed they ‘disagreed’ with her. They claimed she was wrong. They claimed there was no pressure. They claimed the story was false.
And Trudeau repeatedly said that if Wilson-Raybould felt something was wrong, she should have said so, even though it’s now clear that she did so over and over again.
But here’s the thing.
Trudeau, Butts, and Wernick are now proven as total liars.
Because she has it on tape.
Justin Trudeau lied to the entire country. Over and over and over and over and over and over again.
Wilson-Raybould’s recording blasts Trudeau’s talking points out of the water and 100% vindicates her testimony.
Wernick told her that Trudeau would get the DPA done “one way or another, that is the type of mood he is in. I think he is thinking about getting someone else to give him some advice.”
Wilson-Raybould says “this is about interfering with a constitution principle,” and that “I feel I am giving him [trudeau] my best advice. I am trying to protect the Prime Minister from political interference.”
She said “It will be deemed political interference,” “This is about interfering with a constitutional principle,” I have a timeline of every single conversation,” “You are politically pressuring me to do this. It’s wrong,” “The conversation that Gerry and Katie had with my Chief of Staff was entirely inappropriate,” and “I feel very uncomfortable about this conversation.”
This all backs up what she said in her testimony.
There is now only one possible conclusion:
Jody Wilson-Raybould told the truth. Justin Trudeau, Butts, and Wernick weren’t.
Trudeau must resign.
