Financial & industrial sectors down.
The Toronto Stock Exchange is down triple digits (as of this being written at 11:00 am central time).
It’s down over 100 points, falling 103.86. The TSX is now at 16,419.61
BNN Bloomberg reports “broad-based weakness as the key financial, industrial and materials sectors moved lower.”
The market decline puts a damper on earlier news that Canadian wholesalers posted a strong 2-month gain.
