The RCMP says 19-year-old Kam McLeod and Bryer 18-year-old Bryer Schmegelsky are considered suspects in the shooting of 23-year-old Australian Lucas Fowler and 24-year-old American Chynna Deese.
Two missing men are no longer considered missing, and are now considered suspects in the brutal murder of a young couple in British Columbia.
Earlier, 19-year-old Kam McLeod and 18-year-old Bryer Schemegelsky were reported missing. Today however, the RCMP now say they are considered suspects in the shooting of 23-year-old Australian Lucas Fowler and 24-year-old American Chynna Deese.
Fowler and Deese were a few days into their road trip, heading through Alaska.
RCMP say they found McLeod and Schmegelsky’s truck 470 KM away from the crime scene, burnt out.
A dead body was also about 2 KM south of the burnt out truck.
The RCMP believe McLeod and Schmegelsky have left BC, and were seen in Saskatchewan driving a grey 2011 Toyota RAV4.
