Poilievre explains how Trudeau is now doubling-down on the SNC-Lavalin Scandal.
In a wide-ranging press conference, Conservative Finance Critic Pierre Poilievre slammed Justin Trudeau for bringing Gerald Butts back into the Liberal fold.
“The LavScam Bully is in, the principled women who spoke truth to power are out,” said Poilievre.
Poilievre went through the full timeline of events, from the passage of legislation designed to help SNC-Lavalin, illegal donations to the Liberals, pressure on Jody Wilson-Raybould, and then the return of Butts.
“Justin Trudeau rammed through an omnibus to amend the criminal code allowing accused corporate criminals to avoid prosecution,” said Poilievre in his initial remarks.
