BREAKING: US Brokers Ceasefire With Turkey In Syria

Ceasefire will last for 120 hours, as Kurdish YPG forces leave the area.

US Vice President Mike Pence has announced that the US and Turkey have agreed to a ceasefire in Syria.

Pence and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had earlier met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Here’s what Pence said:

“Let me say this also includes an agreement by Turkey to engage in no military action against the community of Kobani. And, in addition, the United States and Turkey have both mutually committed to a peaceful resolution and future for the safe zone, working on an international basis to ensure that peace and security defines this border region with Syria.”

Turkish YPG and Syrian Defence Forces will leave the area, allowing Turkey to establish a safe zone. Once the safe zone has been established, the ceasefire is expected to be permanent.

US President Donald Trump Tweeted about the ceasefire:

“Great news out of Turkey. News Conference shortly with @VP and @SecPompeo. Thank you to @RTErdogan. Millions of lives will be saved!”

That is really good news, I hope the Russians will agree also since they jumped right in there, according to the bought out media anyway if we can believe it (NO).

some guy named Brian, head of CanAm media, says that the fighting is all Trumps fault for pulling forces out in the first place and that this is just Trump trying to save face. Thing is, this is ALL a civil matter, and though their has been lives lost, is it really Trump’s fault. Now these countries have to find peace “on their own” without a USA gun as a deterrent. Star Trek had it right, Prime Directive. Its painful, but kids need to grow up.
