A man shot himself outside the Alberta Legislature around 3 pm today.
According to witness and reports, the man used a handgun to shoot himself on the steps of the Alberta Legislature in Edmonton.
Police are calling it a ‘non-criminal incident.’
The man has passed away.
Question period was underway at the time, but was adjourned until 7:30 pm following the tragic incident.
