Singh attacks US “action in Iran,” even though the airstrike took place in Iraq.
Jagmeet Singh tried weighing in on the US airstrike that took out terrorist general Qassam Soleimani.
It didn’t go well:
“The US’ actions in Iran have brought us closer to another disastrous war in the Middle East.
The Prime Minister needs to act quickly with other countries to de-escalate the situation and not be drawn into the path that President Trump is taking.”

First of all, Singh attacked the US, rather than offering support to our close ally who took out someone who orchestrated repeated attacks.
Second, Singh couldn’t even get the country right.
The airstrike took place in Iraq, not Iran.
@Lumberist on Twitter summed things up well:
“Very happy you aren’t our PM. You seem like a nice guy but that’s about it.
It was a terrorist leader killed in Iraq by the way…”

As I said on Twitter, Singh’s statement is incredibly dumb:
“Incredibly dumb statement. First, the airstrike took place in Iraq, not Iran.
Second, where were Singh’s Tweets when Iran was constantly orchestrating attacks on our American allies?
Why only criticize our close ally while refusing to condemn Iran?
Pathetic.”

Once again no idea what he is talking about. Will end up being Trudeaus stooge.
Third rate, uneducated and juvenile response by NDP leader.
It’s hilarious to watch lefties melt down over this and try to defend Iran just because they hate Trump so much.
For the NDP to select the correct planet is feat enough……
Oh my. This man ran to run the country?
Palm to forehead, I don’t know if I should laugh or cry.
Singh is from the same school of thought as Mckeena. I mean no thought. Makes one wonder how on earth they got there degrees, let alone how they passed the bar. Nice that they are on the world stage representing Canada.
The people whom we select as our political representatives are supposed to be the best & brightest among us – it kinda leaves a lot to be desired, eh?!! I’ve met better used-car salesmen…
So why exactly are the Americans in the Middle East? It is none of their business. However, if the strike had been made on Iran rather than Iraq I think the Zionists would be looking for another “homeland”. Singh has the rest of it right, though. We cannot support our friends if they are bullies and criminals. We must call them on their transgressions and crimes. I hope Canadians aren’t any better than hangers on with a violent street gang – that would be the Yanks.
YOU MUST BELONG ON ANOTHER PLANET EDWARDS..WHAT ROCK DID YOU CRAWL OUT FROM UNDER..ARE YOU A YANK OR A FORMER CLINTONITE..
Singh hates all Conservatives, Conservative voters and the Conservative Party. Just ask him.
Pretty face, empty head. Just like the PM.
Empty head, absolutely true! Pretty face??
The Blind leeding the blind ?
That’s all you got?
This guy like his preferred part time- drama teacher- PM has no clue what he is talking about.
What an idiot. Everyday I am amazed by the utter ignorance and incompetence of our “leaders”.
Canada is doomed by their mediocrity.
All the leaders of all the Parties. There isn’t a single leader that is worthy of my vote. Who the hell do we vote for? Any local candidates other than front line Members are just convenient nodding heads. Stand up, vote and shut up. My Conservative Riding Association won’t even respond to my emails, and the NDP jerk just asks for money. Support works both ways.
To the Gov of Canada, you embarrassed yourself enough. Let the big boys handle this.
