Iran Launches Ballistic Missiles At U.S. Military Facilities In Iraq

Pentagon claims more than a dozen ballistic missiles were launched.

Iran has launched ballistic missiles at U.S. military facilities in Iraq.

Following a first wave of ballistic missiles being launched, Iranian state media said a second round of missiles were launched:

“BREAKING: Iran state media has said that a second round of missile attacks has begun”

Initial strikes reportedly targeted bases at Al Asad and Erbil.

White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham says U.S. President Donald Trump has been briefed:

“We are aware of the reports of attacks on US facilities in Iraq. The President has been briefed and is monitoring the situation closely and consulting with his national security team.”

Unverified video from the Fars News Agency (state media in Iran) allegedly shows the missiles being fired:

It remains to be seen whether the missiles actually hit their targets, and how the U.S. will respond.
