REPORT: Canadian Death Toll In Iran’s Missile Strike On Plane Revised

Foreign Affairs Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne says 57 Canadians died when Iran shot down the Ukrainian International Airlines flight.

During a press conference, Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne revised the Canadian death toll in Iran’s shooting down of an airliner downward.

Earlier, the government had said 63 Canadians were killed.

Now, Champagne says 57 Canadians died.
