Iran State TV Anchor Resigns: “I Apologize For Lying To You On TV For 13 Years”

A stunning moment as the Iranian regime faces unprecedented opposition and rage from the oppressed Iranian People.

In a stunning moment, an anchor for Iran’s State TV has resigned, and apologized for lying to viewers for years.

The resignation comes after Iran’s State TV was forced to repeatedly deny that Iran shot down the plane carrying 176 people, including 57 Canadians.

Then, that lie was reversed, with the regime admitting to the crime.

As reported by the NY Times correspondent, the State TV anchor said it was tough for them to believe:

“Iran State TV’s anchor resigns saying, “It was very hard for me to believe the killing of my countrymen. I apologize for lying to you on TV for 13 years.” #IranProtests2020″

There are also reports that three Iran State Media journalists have recently resigned, as rage and distrust towards the regime spreads.

People can realize how this shows incredible bravery, and is another sign that the Iranian regime is quickly losing the support of the long-oppressed Iranian People.
