REPORT: White House Considering Travel Restrictions On China

“The restrictions could affect flights into and out of China.”

As the Coronavirus continues to spread out of control, CNBC is reporting that the Trump Administration is considering the imposition of travel restrictions on China:

“The White House is considering imposing travel restrictions on China amid an escalating death toll from the new coronavirus, two senior administration officials said Tuesday.

The restrictions could affect flights into and out of China, as well as airports across the United States, the officials said. They declined to be named because no final decision has been made.

A senior staff meeting was held at the White House on Monday during which the restrictions were discussed.”

The United States has also escalated their travel warnings for China, advising against any non-essential travel for the entire country.

Strangely, the travel advisory by Canada is far more limited, only warning against travel to one specific Chinese province.

As of yet, there are no reports that Canadian authorities are considering any restrictions on travel from or to China, even as more and more Canadians demand stronger measures to protect the Canadian People from the rising threat.
