Trump Calls Coronavirus The “Common Enemy” Of The World

“The media should view this as a time of unity and strength” says US President.

On Twitter, US President Donald Trump announced that he will be addressing the US at 9:00 pm Eastern Time from the Oval Office.

Trump also called the Coronavirus “a common enemy.”

Here’s what Trump said in Twitter:

“I will be addressing the Nation this evening at 9:00 P.M. (Eastern) from the Oval Office.”

“The Media should view this as a time of unity and strength. We have a common enemy, actually, an enemy of the World, the CoronaVirus. We must beat it as quickly and safely as possible. There is nothing more important to me than the life & safety of the United States!”

Trump’s initial response to the Coronavirus – closing the border to China – has been praised, particularly because few countries took the measure as early as the United States did.

Since then however, he has faced mounting criticism for repeatedly comparing the Coronavirus to the regular flu, despite the Coronavirus being at least 10 times more deadly.
