B.C. Declares Public Health Emergency, 83 New Coronavirus Cases, 3 New Deaths

There are now 186 cases in the province.

British Columbia has declared a Public Health Emergency.

The move comes as 83 new cases of Coronavirus were announced, along with three new deaths.

Four individuals are now being treated in Intensive Care Units.

As of now, there are 186 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, and seven total deaths in the province.

According to Dr. Bonnie Henry, the Provincial Health Officer for B.C., the increase in new cases is in large part due to an increase in testing.

Ontario recorded their first Coronavirus death, and also declared a Public Health Emergency.
