VIDEO: Man At Toronto Protest Demands Removal Of Statue Of History’s Greatest Anti-Fascist Winston Churchill. (Isn’t That A Pro-Fascist Demand?)

The insanity is spreading.

Fascist Germany was on the march.

Democracies and free nations were falling one by one.

America had not yet entered the war.

The island of Britain, alongside logistical support from allies like Canada, stood almost alone against the fascist hordes.

It seemed hopeless.

Some even pushed for surrender.

Yet, in that dark moment, Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill stood firm.

The United Kingdom would “NEVER SURRENDER” said Churchill, and would fight on against fascism no matter the cost.

In the air, the German fascist war machine suffered it’s first clear defeat, failing to defeat the Royal Air Force and being forced to scrap their plans for an invasion of the British Isles.

Churchill’s strength and Britain’s resolve showed that the fascists could be defeated, that they weren’t invincible.

And this inspired further support for Britain from the US, first in terms of greater and greater supplies, and then, following Pearl Harbor, direct military intervention.

The Allies came together, pushed back the tide of fascism, and ensured the survival of democracy.

None of this would have happened without Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill.

Was Churchill perfect?

Of course not, no leader is perfect, and very few leaders look great by the standards of today.

But we judge people by the standard of their time, by what they did with the power and influence they had.

And what Churchill did was rally his People and the world to stand against the most vicious and brutal fascist regime the world had ever seen.

Had the German fascists won, hundreds of millions of people would have been killed, with genocide spreading across all of Europe, Africa, Asia, and Russia.

People of all colours would have been butchered on an industrial scale, with the Fascist Holocaust against the Jews being the beginning of the murder of an immense percentage of humanity.

In short, Winston Churchill saved hundreds of millions of lives, and was the greatest anti-fascist in history.

And then, after the war, when Churchill was defeated in a general election, he respected democracy and stepped aside for his successor (though he was re-elected years later), showing that not only would he fight for democracy, he would accept democracy’s verdict even when he disagreed.

So, with all of that in mind, the clip below is pure insanity:

Considering that Churchill was the greatest anti-Fascist in history, doesn’t removing his statue seem like a pro-fascist demand?

Whatever it is, we must reject this insanity.

Our history, the history of the Western world, and Canada’s heritage must be remembered and preserved, both the good, the bad, and the in-between.

We cannot allow this radical extremist cultural revolution to wipe out our nation.

These leftists and radicals are the REAL racists in this Country of ours. Notice I didn’t say Great Country. Since Trudeau came on the scene our Greatness has been eroded away and we need to get it back. These radicals have been trying to destroy all our history, good and bad. Time to put a STOP to all this BS. Leave our proud history alone!!! We have a LOT to be proud of, before the Trudeaus came on the scene. It has been all down

Major Tom

Let’s keep the statue of Sir Winston and remove Numb Nuts instead!

Churchill was not an anti fascist. All he wanted was to protect britain’s position as the world’s leading empire. he was an imperialist, period. In fact, he armed fascists in greece so they could massacre a gathering of socialists. Churchill and his racist imperialist ilk caused WWI,which gave rise to WWII and hitler’s fascism. In the end, he would lose everything as britain lost its empire.

You have missed the whole point of what Spencer has stated. Give your head a shake.

Interesting comment. If you have thing to show he armed fascists in Greece, I’d be interested in seeing them.
I thought the biggest cause for WW1 was due to an assassination by a Bosnian Serb who was supported by a nationalist organization in Serbia. He assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand. It was expected by Germany that GB would stay out of it.

Churchill committed the unforgivable sin of being too old, too white and too male. That’s enough for the new Left for whom facts are irrelevant.

‘Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.…’ Winston S Churchill, 11 November 1947   I cannot address the previous comment alleging that P.M. Churchill “…armed fascists in greece…”(sic) but I do know that without Churchill making his Providential entrance as Prime Minister, England would have entered the desperate years to come with the… Read more »
