Pathetic: Despite Men Dying At Higher Rates From CCP Virus & Despite China’s Role In Spreading Virus, United Nations Blames “Patriarchy”

Who comes up with this trash?

The United Nations can always be counted on for one thing:

The worst takes imaginable.

Here’s the latest.

Despite the fact that men are more likely to die from the CCP Virus, and despite China’s role in spreading it, the United Nations – in a Tweet labelled ‘COVID-19 Response,’ is blaming ‘the patriarchy.’

“The #COVID19 pandemic is demonstrating what we all know: millennia of patriarchy have resulted in a male-dominated world with a male-dominated culture which damages everyone – women, men, girls & boys.”

First of all, what the hell does the supposed ‘patriarchy’ have to do with the CCP Virus?

Is the UN really arguing that the ‘patriarchy’ somehow established a system where men die at higher rates of the virus?

“That’s according to an ongoing analysis from the academic research group Global Health 50/50, which determined that men are more likely than women to die of the coronavirus in every country for which official government data is available. So far, that includes nearly 20 countries, including places with some of the most severe outbreaks like Italy, China, Germany, and Spain.

Overall, the analysis found that men are 50% to 80% more likely to die of the coronavirus following a diagnosis than women.”

Huh.

Some ‘patriarchy.’

Also, look at the immense amount of effort the UN once again is going to in order to not hold China accountable.

Rather than mention China at all, the UN tries to blame the ‘patriarchy,’ something that almost nobody has even brought up in relation to the virus.

This is totally pathetic, and it’s why more and more people mistrust the UN, see it as a waste of money, and feel our efforts would be better spent on our own country and working with our allies, rather than corrupt international institutions.
