BREAKING: HOUSE OF COMMONS PASSES MOTION DECLARING CHINA’S ACTIONS AGAINST UYGHURS A GENOCIDE

All MPs who voted ending up voting in favour of the motion, while the Trudeau cabinet is already facing a huge backlash for abstaining.

The House of Commons has passed the motion declaring China’s actions against the Uyghurs as a genocide.

The vote was 266 in favour, and 0 against.

The Liberal cabinet abstained.

This is an important moment for Canada, as the vast majority of MPs – including the majority of Liberal MPs – took a strong stand for human rights and for what is right.

Yet, the Trudeau cabinet, by abstaining from the vote, showed historic cowardice.

History will remember those who did the right thing, and those who took the cowardly approach of refusing to call out China’s actions.
