All MPs who voted ending up voting in favour of the motion, while the Trudeau cabinet is already facing a huge backlash for abstaining.

The House of Commons has passed the motion declaring China’s actions against the Uyghurs as a genocide.

This is an important moment for Canada, as the vast majority of MPs – including the majority of Liberal MPs – took a strong stand for human rights and for what is right.

Yet, the Trudeau cabinet, by abstaining from the vote, showed historic cowardice.

History will remember those who did the right thing, and those who took the cowardly approach of refusing to call out China’s actions.

Sure, stuck between a rock and a hard place, it was either China or the Muslim Uyghurs. Can’t offend either one with an election coming up.

Let’s now see some action on this and other Chinese human rights abuses – such as in Hong Kong.

No surprise Trudeau & his cabinet would refuse to criticize China. Communist dictatorships impress lefties, because they eliminate free speech/any opposition & get their policies inflicted on a country.

The liberal caucus should be forced to resign.

I’d like to see more of Mr O’Toole fighting for Canada’s moral understandings and rights. If he does, he would have more backing.

Of course the Lieberals abstained, they didn’t want to feel the wrath of their masters in the CCP.
