Majority Of Canadians Disapprove Of Trudeau, See Him As Divisive

It’s no coincidence that the more Canadians turn against Trudeau, the more the Liberals seek to impose state control over what you can see and say on the internet.

A new Leger-Postmedia survey shows the deep extent to which many Canadians have turned against Justin Trudeau.

Starting with the top-line numbers, 55% disapprove of Trudeau, compared to 39% who approve.

When it comes to the intensity of approval vs disapproval, the numbers for Trudeau are even worse.

32% strongly disapprove, compared to just 7% who strongly approve, meaning that most of those who support Trudeau are doing so rather tepidly.

Majority see Trudeau as divisive

While the establishment press has tried to portray Pierre Poilievre as ‘divisive,’ that label applies far more accurately to Trudeau.

61% of survey responds agreed with the statement, ‘Justin Trudeau often favours certain groups and regions of the country over others, which has created national unity issues’.

Just 22% disagreed with that statement.

Near-majority want Trudeau to resign

Almost half of all Canadians want Trudeau to resign.

When asked, ‘Do you think Trudeau should resign before the next election and let someone else lead the Liberal Party and country?’, 49% said yes, while 30% said no.

21% said they are unsure.

If we take ‘unsure’ out of the equation, it’s clear that a majority of those with a definitive opinion want Trudeau out of office before the next election takes place.

When asked about Trudeau’s top ‘accomplishment,’ Canadians said it was legalizing marijuana:

“Greatest Accomplishments By Trudeau (Top 5):

Legalizing Weed: 16%
Managing Covid Pandemic: 15%
Affordable Daycare/Childcare: 7%
Reconciliation With Indigenous Peoples: 7%
Canada’s Reputation Internationally: 6%”

By contrast, Canadians listed ‘integrity issues’ as Trudeau’s biggest disappointments:

“Greatest Disappointments In Trudeau (Top 5):

Integrity Issues: 17%
Failed To Keep Promises: 11%
Focuses On Style/Not Enough Substance: 11%
Buying Transmountain Pipeline: 9%
Invoking Emergency Measures During Protests: 6%”

As public opinion turns, Liberals want power over the internet

It’s no coincidence that the more public opinion turns against the Trudeau Liberals, the more they are seek control over the internet.

Having bought off much of the media, the Liberals still must contend with the fact that people like us can freely share our views online, and can rally opposition to what the Liberals are doing.

Social media and independent media websites have been instrumental in pushing back against the lies pushed by the Liberal government/establishment press, and that’s why the Liberals want legislation like Bill C-11.

This demonstrates the inherently anti-democratic, anti-freedom mindset of the Liberal government: Rather than listen and respond to an increasingly angry Canadian public, the Liberals seek to block the public from being able to express anger and opposition.

It’s what authoritarian governments do.
