In Transport Committee, Alghabra Demonstrates How The Liberal Government Is Completely Detached From Reality

Instead of addressing the problems caused by ArriveCAN and their refusal to move on from the pandemic, the Liberals are lashing out.

Canada continues to become more and more of a global outlier when it comes to our refusal to move on from the covid-19 pandemic.

The Trudeau Liberals continue to impose various restrictions and policies that have significantly slowed down travel processing, leading to chaos at the airports and heightened authoritarianism at the borders.

Just like the ‘temporary’ World War 1 income tax that became permanent and is still around today, the Liberals are using a past crisis to expand their power at the expense of individual rights and freedoms.

They are also completely disconnected from reality.

At a recent Transport Committee meeting, transport minister Omar Alghabra repeatedly lashed out at Conservatives and the Freedom Convoy, rather than addressing the questions he was asked.

And when he did ‘answer’ questions, he made stunning claims, including the claim that the disastrous ArriveCAN app had sped up processing at airports.

You can watch some of the clips below to see how completely detached from reality the Liberals have become:

“Instead of answering questions about the chaos inside Canada’s airports, Transport minister Omar Alghabra launches a tirade against the Conservatives for supporting the Freedom Convoy.”

“I don’t know the answer.” When asked how many of the 18,000 backlogged complaints the government has resolved, Transport Minister Omar Alghabra is not able to answer.”

“Conservative MP @MikeBarrettON asks Transport Minister Omar Alghabra why the government implemented travel mandates after court documents revealed by True North’s @rupasubramanya showed mandates had no basis in science.”

““There is no evidence whatsoever that ArriveCAN is causing any problems.”

Transport Minister Omar Alghabra claims that the ArriveCAN app actually speeds up processing times at airports and the border.”

It’s incompetence all the way down

There’s the old saying, “it’s turtles all the way down,” which has become a humorous meme, referring to the idea that Earth is supported on the back of a turtle, and that the ‘world turtle’ sits on the back of yet another turtle.

When asked what that turtle sits atop, the answer is “it’s turtles all the way down.”

Well, with the Liberal government it’s incompetence all the way down.

Omar Alghabra should certainly be fired for incompetence, but he would just be replaced by someone as incompetent.

The incompetence starts at the top, with Justin Trudeau and his cronies, who seem to be capable of nothing other than using the government to reduce our rights and freedoms, and spending a boatload of money.

With everything in Canada basically a disaster, the incompetent Liberals are reduced to flailing around and blaming their political opponents, hoping they can divide the nation enough to distract from their appalling inability to get results.
