Why Is A Canadian University Promoting De Facto Segregation?

Those who claim to be fighting discrimination are increasingly morphing into what they claim to oppose.

“Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster… for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you.” – Friedrich W. Nietzsche

That’s a quote that is clearly being ignored by many on the extreme radical left these days.

And that apparently includes Brock University.

In a recent announcement, Brock said a “study hall service” was being set up, but it appears to be only for non-White students:

“A new study hall service at Brock University is enhancing academic resources for students.

On Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, students who identify as Black, Indigenous and People of Colour (BIPOC) are invited to join Learning Services’ BIPOC Study Hall in the Student Success Centre (TH 129).

The free resource, which runs from 6 to 8 p.m. features tutoring from fourth-year students who can assist participants with study habits and questions they might have as they tackle their assignments. The space will also serve as a welcoming environment for those looking for a supportive venue to finish their work.”

Look at that again:

“…students who identify as Black, Indigenous and People of Colour (BIPOC) are invited to join Learning Services’ BIPOC Study Hall in the Student Success Centre…”

Notice anything missing?

Clearly, the implication is that White students are not invited.

This is basically segregation, saying some races are welcome and others are not.

And this insanity is being done in the name of so-called ‘inclusion.’

This kind of thinking is the mirror image of discriminatory thinking – that races needed to kept apart and treated differently.

It’s appalling, and it is a disgrace.

How hard would it be to just have something available for all students?

Is there some sort of massive race-battle going on at Brock University that everyone is unaware of?

This is insulting to people of all backgrounds.

Of course, it’s insulting to White students who are being excluded.

It’s also insulting to Non-White students, who are being lumped into one category, and who are supposedly in need of ‘extra’ help.

This kind of divisive, victim-mindset is pathetic, and demonstrates how the radical left at many Canadian universities – often funded with tax dollars taken away from hard-working Canadians – are trying to tear apart this country.

All Canadians – of all backgrounds – need to stand up and oppose this de facto segregation that is being driven by the insane radical leftists.

We should be judging Canadians by their actions, not their skin colour, and we should be trying to bring all the Citizens of this nation together, not pushing them apart with divisive racial narratives.
