So why did the Liberals claim he confronted China’s dictator Xi Jinping about this?
Justin Trudeau has yet again denied that he was briefed or received any information on Canadian federal election candidates being paid by Communist China.

This again raises the following question:
If Trudeau wasn’t briefed on China interfering in our elections by buying off or trying to buy off candidates, what did he ‘confront’ Xi Jinping about?
The Liberal government claim he brought up the issue with Xi in their side meeting at the G20.
But how could he have brought it up if he has no information about it?
Either way, the Liberals have been caught in a lie.
Either a lie about whether Trudeau brought it up, or a lie about whether he wasn’t briefed about it.
Endless dishonesty
There is simply no way around acknowledging the fact that the Liberals have been endlessly dishonest on every issue, and often most egregiously when it comes to China.
The Liberals wanted to tell the domestic Canadian audience that they were ‘getting tough’ on China, while seeming to backtrack or worm their way out of it afterwards.
They now look both cowardly and dishonest, which makes Canada even worse off.
If we can’t trust our own government and if other countries view our ‘leaders’ as weak and submissive jokes, other countries will be even more likely to try and interfere with our nation and wreck our democracy.
