Jagmeet Singh’s Inflation Hypocrisy Exposed

Singh has repeatedly voted against measures that would have provided relief for struggling Canadians.

Jagmeet Singh keeps trotting out the old socialist class warfare rhetoric as he attempts to blame grocery stores for inflation.

Singh is doing so for two main reasons:

First, he has decided to go all-in on appealing to ignorance and blaming the ‘rich’ is far easier than discussing the underlying reasons prices have surged.

Second, if he were to discuss those underlying reasons, he would have to explain why he’s repeatedly voted against measures that could have reduced the burden of inflation on Canadians.

As noted by MP Frank Caputo, Singh has had multiple opportunities to vote for things that could have lowered inflation on the apples he references in his video, yet he voted against all of them:

“Impacts on apple prices: 1. Cost of fertilizer. 2. Increased carbon tax on farmers. 3. Cost to transport due to carbon tax. 4. Increased GST on all fuel prices. The common denominator: you voted against relief on all these. Yet you chose to blame a handful of CEOs?”

The problem of course is that Caputo is discussing how things really work, whereas Singh prefers to dwell in the realm of fantasy.

Singh thinks he’s ‘fighting’ against inflation because he says it, and simply ignores the fact that his preferred policies have made things worse.

We need to call this out over and over again, because Singh is trying to pull the wool over the eyes of Canadians on a massive scale, and if he gets away with it his socialist us vs them worldview will make things even worse for our nation.
