VIDEO: Trudeau Calls Bill Morneau & Mark Carney “Random Liberals”

Trailing in the polls, is Trudeau trying to distance himself from everyone?

Justin Trudeau doesn’t seem to be having a fun time as Prime Minister.

Having inherited a balanced budget and unified nation from Stephen Harper after winning an election in which his biggest promise was to legalize marijuana, Trudeau now finds himself at the helm of an increasingly indebted, divided, and stagnant nation, largely due to his own policy choices.

Add to that the fact that the world is now much more dangerous, and it’s clear that Trudeau’s overly-emotional, short-term thinking and naïve world-view makes him incredibly unsuited to the present moment.

In Question Period, Trudeau has been trying to blame everyone and everything else for the dire state of the nation, as he faces relentless questioning from CPC Leader Pierre Poilievre.

Poilievre and the CPC are now leading in many polls, and it’s clear the pressure is getting to Trudeau.

In the video below, Trudeau called former Finance Minister Bill Morneau and former Bank of Canada Governor Mark Carney – “random Liberals” after Poilievre pointed out that Morneau and Carney have been quite critical of Trudeau’s spending practices:

““You know the Conservative leader is stumbling over himself when he starts quoting random Liberals.”

PM Trudeau calls former Finance Minister Bill Moreau and former Bank of Canada governor Mark Carney “random Liberals” during his exchange with @PierrePoilievre.”

The irony is that Trudeau is the one “stumbling” here, as he distances himself from his own government.

Perhaps this is what happens when a failed leader tries to blame everyone else: Sooner or later you’re blaming people closer and closer to you.

But at the end of the day, the PM is the one responsible. Trudeau wanted the big job, and if everything that goes wrong is everyone else’s fault, then it only further proves he’s not up to the task.
