WATCH: Conservative MP Michael Barrett Demands Answers From Alexandre Trudeau On 20-Year Foundation Stint, $140K Beijing-Linked Donation, & CCP Interference Denials

In 20 years, Alexandre Trudeau signed off on precisely one donation: The $140K donation connected to Beijing.

Alexandre Trudeau’s testimony contained many appalling moments, including his dismissal of the importance of investigating China’s interference in Canada, his shocking naivety, and his willingness to try and throw former Trudeau Foundation President Pascale Fournier under the bus.

And some of the most important back-and-forth’s came during Conservative MP Michael Barrett’s grilling of Trudeau.

Barrett has proven to be one of the more effect communicators for the Conservatives, and his understated style left room for Trudeau to talk himself into trouble.

Under Barrett’s questioning, Alexandre Trudeau admitted that in his entire 20-year stint at the Trudeau Foundation, he signed off on only one donation. And that donation just so happened to be the $140K donation linked to Beijing.

Think about that for a moment: 20 years. Only one donation signed off-on. A huge donation connected to Beijing.

It’s so obvious, so in our faces, that it almost wouldn’t be believable if Trudeau hadn’t admitted it himself.

Trudeau then claimed that it was no big deal that the individuals connected to the donation were making use of Chinese Communist Party staff in Canada, claiming that the CCP officials were doing nothing other than offering “free translation services.”

I encourage you to watch the clip and share it widely. We are in a fight for our rights and freedoms and democratic way of life. Canadians need to see this and understand the severity of what is happening:

“In 20 years at the Trudeau Foundation, Alexandre Trudeau arranged and signed for one donation. A $140K payment from Beijing. He claims CCP agents involved in the donation were offering free translation and claims details of the influence operation in the Globe and Mail is false.”
