Eco-Communist: Guilbeault Threatens Saskatchewan As Liberals Continue Extremist Campaign Against Affordable Canadian Energy

Canadians must wake up and understand that Guilbeault’s radical agenda is about deliberately making life more and more expensive.

Unlimited indulgence of human instinct is obviously dangerous. The world would be chaotic if we did so, and civilization would be impossible.

However, suppressing all of our instincts is also a terrible idea.

The instinct to grow, to expand, to gain wealth, to learn, all of these have pushed humanity forward. It’s no coincidence that people view economic decline as a bad thing while viewing economic expansion as a good thing. It’s in our nature to want to have more. Humans

That’s why the radical de-growth, anti-energy, anti-prosperity agenda of eco communists like Stephen Guilbeault is so inherently divisive and destructive. At a very deep level, it goes against what we know to be right.

Cheap, abundant, and effective energy sources have been a key driver in our advancement. As we have learned to utilize more and more efficient sources of energy, we have made massive technological leaps and our standard of living has surged.

It thus follows that those who stand in the way of cheap and affordable energy, those who try to use government force to stop us from utilizing that energy, are pushing an agenda that is incompatible with a rising standard of living, incompatible with wealth, and incompatible with freedom.

Because that agenda suppresses the fundamental drive to attain and achieve more, it becomes increasingly tyrannical.

As a result, we see things like this:

“Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault yesterday threatened criminal sanctions against coal-burning provinces that fail to comply with climate change regulations. His remarks came a day after Saskatchewan’s Premier said the province will run its coal and gas-fired power plants so long as they’re useful: “Not complying with this regulation would be a violation of Canada’s Criminal Code.””

Read that again:

“Criminal sanctions”.

That’s how the eco-communists work. When they’re out of power, they claim they just want a ‘clean environment.’ Then they get into power and they’re threatening to criminalize the use of energy.

Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe was quick to push back:

“Saskatchewan’s plan for affordable, reliable power generation may require coal-fired generation beyond 2030.

Steven Guilbeault says that would be illegal.

Here’s my response to that.”

Moe is absolutely right. Canadians need to stand up against Guilbeault’s extreme agenda. At a time when violent crime is surging out of control, when vicious criminals get a slap on the wrist for heinous crimes and are let out to hurt more innocent people, Guilbeault and the Liberals are talking about criminalizing people for using affordable energy.

It’s disgusting, and Canadians can’t stand for it. People must wake up and realize that someone like Guilbeault can only destroy, not create:

“You can’t build a civilization with politicians like Steven Guilbeault in charge. All he can do is use the threat of government power to leech off the wealth and prosperity created by others until there’s nothing left.”
