France has now added their voice to the long list of Western nations condemning South Africa’s disgusting and false claims against Israel. Unfortunately, Trudeau and the Liberals are failing to do the same.
Shortly after South Africa – a dysfunctional pro-terrorist nation that sides with dictatorships, can’t even keep the lights on and incites genocide against White farmers – launched their garbage claims against Israel at the International Court of Justice, Germany decided to intervene on Israel’s behalf, slamming South Africa’s accusations.
Here’s what they said in a statement:
“On 7 October 2023, Hamas terrorists brutally attacked, tortured, killed, and kidnapped innocent people in Israel. Hamas’ goal is to wipe out Israel. Since then, Israel has been defending itself against the inhumane attack by Hamas.
In light of Germany’s history and the crime of humanity – the Shoah, the Federal Government sees itself as particularly committed to the Convention against Genocide. This Convention is a central instrument of international law to implement ‘Never Again’. We firmly oppose a political instrumentalization [of the Convention].
We know that different countries assess Israel’s operation in Gaza differently. However, the Federal Government firmly and expressly rejects the accusation of genocide that has now been levelled against Israel at the International Court of Justice. This accusation has no basis whatsoever.
The Federal Government supports the International Court of Justice in its work, as it has done for many decades. The Federal Government intends to intervene as a third party in the hearing on the merits.”
With the United States and the United Kingdom having also expressed their opposition to South Africa’s case, France has now also done the same:
“France does not back a case against Israel at the UN’s top court accusing the country of committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, the French foreign minister said on Wednesday.
“Accusing the Jewish state of genocide crosses a moral threshold. The notion of genocide cannot be exploited for political ends,” Foreign Minister Stephane Sejourne told parliament.”
Canada’s closest allies and fellow members of Western Civilization recognize that South Africa has zero credibility and that there is simply no evidence to back claims of genocide against Israel.
They also know that it is Hamas which is genocidal, as the terrorist organization openly states their intention to kill Jewish People and usher in another Holocaust.
But here in Canada, Justin Trudeau refuses to show the moral clarity of France, Germany, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
Instead, he’s pandering to anti-Semites for votes, and making it clear that he has nothing but disdain for Canadian Values and the values of the Western world.
The Liberals are trying to have it both ways, by sending out some MPs to express support for Israel and for the Jewish community in Canada, while sending other MPs out to demonize Israel and push for a ceasefire that would leave the genocidal Hamas terrorists in power.
Yet, refusing to take a side in a battle between the democratic state of Israel and the vile Hamas terrorists means taking Hamas’ side.
That’s where Canada is today under Justin Trudeau. We are a nation that is distancing ourselves from our heritage as a bastion of Western Civilization, distancing ourselves from our traditional allies, and morphing into a dysfunctional third-world nation that allows hatred and anti-Semitism to fester. It is tragic to see, and it is incredibly dangerous. It must be stopped, or our country will be lost. We must return to our values, return to a closer relationship with our Western allies, and return to standing 100% with Israel and with the Jewish community.
