Having Enabled Surging Anti-Semitism, The NDP Now Pretends To Be Shocked At What They Helped Unleash

The NDP expressing shock at surging anti-Semitism is like someone setting a house on fire and pretending to be surprised when it burns down.

Politicians across the political spectrum have expressed their shock and outrage after two gunmen shot at a Jewish girls school in North York.

However, that outrage rings hollow when it comes from the NDP.

The NDP – including particularly despicable MPs like Charlie Angus and Heather McPherson – seem to be hell-bent on demonizing Israel as much as possible.

They have repeatedly tried to draw a false moral equivalence between Israel – a democratic nation – and Hamas – a genocidal terror group.

They have chosen to make common-cause with the most virulent anti-Semites in the country.

And so, the NDP expressing shock at surging anti-Semitism is like someone setting a house on fire and pretending to be surprised when it burns down.

Much of this is due to the dangerous socialist mindset of the NDP. They are unable to recognize that the weaker side in a conflict is not always morally right.

Israel is strong because Israel embraces freedom. Israel is an innovative and productive country that protects individual rights.

Israel should be celebrated, not demonized.

Yet, because the NDP sees all success as exploitation, they side with whoever is less successful, even when – in the case of Gaza – that lack of success is due to embracing terrorism and irrationality.

Until the NDP grapples with the massive flaws in their worldview, they will continue to be a dangerous organization that enables the worst anti-Semites in our country.
