Justin Trudeau Has Betrayed Young Canadians

If you’re a young person in Canada who is struggling, Trudeau has chosen to make your struggles even worse. You deserve a chance at a prosperous future. But Justin Trudeau is standing in the way.

Justin Trudeau finally let the mask slip.

A short while back, Trudeau hyped up the latest garbage federal budget as being about “fairness for every generation.”

Well, that didn’t last long.

Speaking on a Globe & Mail podcast, Trudeau made it clear that he intends to lock young Canadians out of the housing market on a permanent basis.

Trudeau said “housing needs to retain its value,” adding “it’s a huge part of people’s potential for retirement and future nest egg.”

Paradoxically, he also then claimed he wanted to make housing more affordable.

But of course, unless Canada has some sort of miraculous per capita GDP surge, and builds millions of houses in the blink of an eye, there is no way for housing to be more affordable unless prices come down.

So – in practical terms – what Trudeau is really saying is that young Canadians will continue to be priced out of the Canadian Dream.

Trudeau has done this on purpose.

He flooded the country with unsustainable immigration levels, and he flooded the country with borrowed money.

At the same time, he imposed extremist climate policies that have driven up the cost of living and destroyed hundreds of billions of dollars of energy sector investment.

This has left Canada dangerously dependent on housing to prop up our economy, but that is obviously unsustainable.

Justin Trudeau’s pathetic governance has boxed Canada into a corner. And instead of reversing his anti-growth policies, Trudeau has decided to completely betray young Canadians.

If you’re a young person in Canada who is struggling, Trudeau has chosen to make your struggles even worse. You deserve a chance at a prosperous future. But Justin Trudeau is standing in the way.
