Two-Thirds Of Canadians Oppose Liberal Immigration Plan

Further evidence the consensus on immigration is shattered.

A new Leger survey shows over two-thirds of Canadians oppose the Liberal immigration plan, with almost all those opposed believing the plan will bring in too many people.

According to the survey, 65% say the Liberal plan to bring in 485,000 people in 2024, 500,000 in 2025, and 500,000 again in 2026 “will admit too many immigrants to Canada.”

Just 3% say it “will not admit enough immigrants to Canada.”

20% say it will admit “the right number of immigrants to Canada.”

The numbers are brutal for the Liberals, as even 53% of Liberal supporters and 46% of NDP supporters say the plan will admit too many people. 86% of Conservative voters say the same.

The Liberals have shattered the immigration consensus in Canada.
