Why won’t he take such a simple action to stand up for Canadian values?
One or two years into a new government’s time in office, it’s reasonable to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Mistakes can be attributed to the learning curve that comes with taking over a massive bureaucracy, and it can be hoped that lessons will be learned and performance will improve with time.
But eight years into a new government, the benefit of the doubt can no longer be given.
And so, what once seemed like some sort of overly-positive naivety by Justin Trudeau towards hostile ideologies like those of Communist China and radical Islamists now seems like something much more sinister.
Time and time again, Justin Trudeau has chosen to criticize and demonize Canada’s history and distance our nation from our foundations as a Western Democracy, while praising Communist China.
Trudeau also shows a profound hostility to freedom of speech, with one exception:
You’ve surely noticed how Trudeau sounds like a total free speech absolutist when talking about radical Islamists, yet that is the one and only area in which he holds such ‘pro free speech’ views.
It is striking, and it’s disturbing.
With this in mind, Justin Trudeau’s ongoing refusal to list the Iranian-regime-controlled Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp as a terrorist organization looks more and more sinister by the day, especially as anti-Semitic, anti-Canadian, anti-Western propaganda is being spread within our nation and our own Citizens are being threatened by the Iranian regime:
On Twitter (X), Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre slammed Trudeau for his refusal to take action:
“You’ve kept the IRGC legal in Canada 4 years after they murdered 55 of our citizens and 30 permanent residents, while 700 agents still terrorize our people.
And you have the audacity to give a self-serving political speech at the memorial to the group’s victims.”

Even Liberal MP Anthony Housefather is calling for the IRGC to be listed as a terrorist organization:
Flight #PS752 was struck down four years ago by Iran. The current regime in Iran is a bad actor. It ferments chaos across the Middle East & world & has denied justice to victims’ families including Canadians. I maintain that we need to declare the IRGC a terrorist organization.

At this point, we have to assume that things are exactly as they appear to be: Canada is led by a Prime Minister who despises our nation, despises Western Values, and wants to see Canada become some horrendous mix of China-style Communist authoritarianism and anti-Western radical Islamism.
Remember, shortly after Iran killed 57 Canadians, Trudeau BOWED DOWN to Iranian regime officials:

When people show you who they are, you should believe them. And Justin Trudeau has shown this country that he is a profoundly hostile force that wants to hurt our people and turn Canada into something completely unrecognizable to those of us who actually love what this country is supposed to be.
