Tru-Anon Meltdown: Conspiracies Run Rampant After Trudeau Confronted By Steelworker

Why is it so tough for Trudeau supporters to accept how unpopular he is?

These days, political movements tend to become more and more conspiratorial the more they feel like they’re losing.

It starts with a denial of negative poll results – combined with a hypocritical belief in positive poll results – and then morphs into insane conspiracy theories.

And that’s what Tru-Anon is doing in response to the Prime Minister’s confrontation with a steelworker in Sault Ste. Marie.

Rather than accept that the polls are indeed correct and the Prime Minister is deeply unpopular, Tru-Anon has been coming up with absurd conspiracy theories:

As you can see in the community note, the claim being made and spread by Liberals is completely false. Tru-Anon simply can’t come to terms with the fact that a vast majority of Canadians oppose the Prime Minister and oppose the Liberal Party.

With Trudeau having pushed out most of the independent-minded and credible people within the party, the Liberals are increasingly left with those willing to say anything to hide the extent of their party’s decline.
