Canadian Connection To Russian Influence Operation Shows Canada Needs An Aggressive Cold War-Style Crackdown On Foreign Interference

The threat from Russia, China, and Iran is real.

If you’ve read my work for a while, you know that I’ve been warning of the threat from Russia, China, and Iran for quite some time.

And in recent days, we’ve learned that the threat is even more severe than many thought.

A recent US Government indictment revealed that some top right-wing influencers in the United States were funded by Russia:

Notably, Lauren Chen is Canadian.

This is a concerning Canadian connection to what appears to be an egregious Russian-sponsored foreign interference, designed to hurt American support for Ukraine to stop US aid to Ukraine and make it easier for Russia’s evil invasion to succeed.

Remember, at this very moment Ukrainian cities are being decimated by endless Russian missile strikes – strikes made easier by the delay in aid to Ukraine caused in large part by propaganda pushed by those who allegedly took gobs of Russian money to sell out their own nation and sell out the free world.

This comes at a time when Canada is dealing with ongoing foreign interference by China, and by Iran. China has sought to interfere in our elections through the party system, and Iran has been sponsoring many of the antisemitic and anti-western lunatics spreading hate on our streets.

Clearly, China, Iran, and Russia are all working together to destabilize Canada, the United States, and all free nations.

We must recognize this, and work together – both within our own nation – and with our allies, to counter this threat.

We can’t be naive.

We can’t hope it just goes away.

Instead, we need a Cold War-style crackdown:

“Don’t let partisanship distract you from the fact that LeBlanc is actually correct here.

We are in a New Cold War.

Canada cannot allow our citizens to be ‘Useful Idiots’ for the Russian regime.

The government should in fact go much further to confront the Authoritarian Axis.

We should be ramping up military spending, selling more LNG to our democratic allies to displace Russian supplies and starve their revenue, send more weapons to Ukraine, put tariffs on China, crack down on antisemitic extremists funded by Iran, and release the names of the MPs who did the bidding of the Chinese Communist Party.”
