Liberal Response To Question By MP Eric Duncan Indicates A Party Consumed By Bitterness

You have to see it to believe it.

Recently, Conservative MP Eric Duncan stood up in Question Period to ask about immigration.

In response, Liberal MP Randy Boissonnault (not to be confused with ‘other Randy’), sought to focus attention on Duncan’s sexuality:

“WATCH: Today in Question Period, I asked the Liberals about their immigration flip-flop.

The response: I am not gay enough.

The Liberals are pathetic, woke and clearly desperate to distract from their endless failures.

I can’t wait to defeat them in the next election.”

This is disgraceful for two key reasons.

First, Boissonault didn’t even pretend to try to answer the question.

Second, Boissonault reduced Duncan to nothing more than his sexual orientation, the exact kind of judgmental and divisive way of thinking that our society has worked so hard to overcome.

When people talk about how the Liberals are an increasingly illiberal party, this is what they mean.

The Liberal Party is long removed from the time of ‘Sunny Ways.’ Now, they seem to be consumed with anger and bitterness.
