DUCLOS DELUSION: Liberal Minister Thinks Canadians Are Just About To Understand “Great Value” Of Carbon Tax

If the Liberals think that’s true, why not have a carbon tax election?

The Liberals appear to be falling further into delusions in an attempt to spin their unpopularity.

As Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre calls for a “Carbon Tax Election,” Liberal Minister Jean-Yves Duclos claims the Conservatives are afraid the carbon tax is just about to become popular:

“Ministers Duclos and Guilbeault’s media appearance yesterday was to do a review of Poilievre’s two years as Tory leader. Duclos said the reason Poilievre wants an election now is because Canadians start to understand the value of carbon pricing.”

Notably, Liberal actions don’t match their words. If they were really confident the carbon tax was about to become a political winner, why not have a carbon tax election?

The Liberals can make all the delusional claims they want, but their desperate efforts to avoid an election say it all.
