Fully waive cabinet confidence and privilege says Scheer.
Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer is calling on Justin Trudeau to end the SNC-Lavalin PMO Scandal cover-up.
Scheer says Trudeau must fully waive solicitor-client privilege, waive cabinet confidence, and allow additional witnesses to speak before the Ethics Committee.
Scheer makes an important point in his remarks, because unless those steps are taken, individuals like Jody Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott are not fully free to speak about the underlying aspects of the scandal.
A video of Scheer’s remarks can be viewed below:
SPEAKING TO MEDIA LIVE. The Ethics Committee meets tomorrow. Instead of continuing his cover-up, Justin Trudeau needs to let this investigation proceed, extend and fully wave solicitor-client privilege and cabinet confidence, and allow other key witnesses to testify.–PARLANT AUX MÉDIAS EN DIRECT.
